Upcoming Training Events How to book a course Frequently Asked Questions About the RADAR forum About the Useful Training Group How to contact us

The Useful Training Group are sponsoring RADAR, the new internet forum for Supporting People providers.

RADAR will go live early in 2009. Membership is free - and always will be.

RADAR is for the benefit of providers who are focused on the delivery of excellent services. It will enable people to network with the country wide community of Supporting People providers. Amongst its many features, people will be able to post questions, generate discussion and new ideas, share policy and procedure and view archived discussions.

Work is underway to promote RADAR amongst the people who receive Supporting People services. Including service users is an aspect of the project that promises to bring great value to services across the UK.

Moderators
We have three volunteer moderators and require three more. Moderators are forum members who are given privileges to monitor the use of RADAR. For example, a moderator may need to prune irrelevant or inappropriate content, check multiple postings, delete forum spam or deliver warnings for misuse. We are particularly keen to hear from people who can see the importance of user involvement to RADAR's success. If you are interested in being part of this exciting new project - have broadband, reasonable IT skills and around 30 minutes a day - please get touch enquiries@usefultraininggroup.com . Thank you.
